Bread & Butter from Scratch! Come and knead the dough, shape the bun, and churn the butter for your own mid-morning snack! Everything tastes better if you've worked hard to make it yourself!

Spring Break at the Pioneer Museum! A full week of living history, hands-on crafting, games and toys from pioneer days, storytelling and sing-alongs. Rope making, a chuck wagon, corn husk and knot doll making, and living history presenters full of personality! Don't miss this huge event!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Children 10 and under can bring a basket and fill it with eggs. Separate age group areas. Big prize baskets for Golden Egg Finders. .Face-painting and refreshments after the hunt.

Weaving Loom-inous Beauty!! "Spin" on by, and see if you have a "heddle" for weaving! Watch the process from carded wool to beautiful scarf. "Wool" you be the best weaver? Let's find out!

A Patchwork Project! Try your hand at piecing and quilting your own miniature quilt! Lots of beautiful quilts on display, and helpful quilters to show the old ways and the new.

Forge Your Own Way! An event held in our own blacksmith shop. Trained blacksmiths will teach children about the history of the craft, and then help the kids forge something special of their very own creation. (Safety first! Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.)
