LOG CABIN DAYS - LIVING HISTORY
With the crispness of fall in the air, the Pioneer Museum opens its grounds for Log Cabin Days the second Saturday of every October, a special event where families can experience life on the frontier.
Families can join us for a day of old-fashioned, hands-on activities, including rope making, churning butter, grinding corn, spinning wool, creating seed art, and washing linens with a scrub board. Demonstrations include weaving coiled wool baskets, blacksmiths and one room school interpretation.
Activities and demonstrations take place during regular museum hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
