Easter Egg Hunt Sat, March 31 10:00-11:30 am Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
"egg hiders" to hide 5,000 Easter eggs on the grounds; 8:45-9:45 am
"border patrol" agents to ensure the right age kids stay in their assigned areas; 9:45-10:45 am
"hostesses" to set up & serve refreshments (cookies and lemonade) and clean up when completed; 10:00-11:45 am
Flag Day Sat, June 16 Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Spring Break 2019 Dates to be announced (closed on Sunday) Volunteers are needed in the following areas in 2 hour shifts (10-noon, 1-3, 3-5)
CORN HUSK DOLLS: Scheduled for Wednesday, March 14 and more days if enough volunteers. This activity will be stationed at a table with the option to sit. Requires some training.
KNOT DOLLS: This activity will be taught to groups of 5 children at a time each hour. Requires some training.
ROPEMAKING: Contact John Weisinger to sign up for 2-hour shifts throughout the week.
LUNCHROOM HELP: Need 2-3 helpers at 11 am each day to set out the food/drink for the staff/presenters and clean up when finished. Lunch time will be from noon-1:30 each day,
FOOD SALES on the GROUNDS: We will sell pre-made sack lunches for $5 00 from 11:30-1:00 each day. We need volunteers to handle cash and someone to learn our point of sale register system to run credit cards.
HOST/HOSTESSES: Need 3 people per shift to welcome guests, offer general instructions, direct guests to the activities, answer questions, etc. We need 12 volunteers per day in 2-hour shifts beginning at 10am. If someone wants to work longer, even better!.
